It was the evening of the first day of the Times Ahmadabad festival. Renowned singer Kailash Kher mesmerized the Amdavadi audience with his songs and unique sufi voice.
He started his performance with the famous Jogi de Naal Di from his album Kailaasa, continued with the hit songs like Teri deewani, Bam lehri, Tauba tauba, etc. One of his recent compositions form movie Dasvidaniya called Maa, Meri Maa, recieved great appreciation from the audience. Towards the end of the programme, on the request of the audience, he also performed the song Chak de Fatte from movie Khosla ka Ghosla.
The lawns of Karvnavati club all went hot during the evening. People were seen dancing and swaying to the tunes of Kher. There were crowds of youngsters, who all appreciated Kailash Kher and especially his band, the guitar players and the percussionists, Sanket Athale and Kurt Peters.
