After hearing about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, it simply reminds me of that place when I visited some few months back. The tall buildings of the Taj and the Oberoi stand in front of the Mumbai gateway of India. All was OK until the terrorists attacked which took place here on "A Wednesday". I simply would like to share these pics here with you, which i myself clicked when I visited Mumbai. These sky high buildings impressed me much, but now it makes me think about the situation that would be prevailing at this time.
Terrorists attacked the Taj and Oberoi hotels in Mumbai at around 9:45 pm on 26th Nov, 2008. Places like the Trident hotel and the Nariman House were also targeted. It is believed that the terrorists rushed in numbers and they shooted at 12 different places at a time.
It becomes our duty to salute the martyrs and also to appreciate the efforts made by the Mumbai Police, Anti terrorism squad and the NSG's. Some around 156 people are feared to lose their lives in the event. We pat our homage to them.

Its really sad that the country who is trying to be super power by 2020 is becoming more like IRAQ where the News about Bomblasts and terrorist attacks have become routine.
